Being able to curate and create outfits based on specific themes or concepts is a valuable talent that I have been cultivating since high-school. I was always quick to style my family and friends when they were in need of help for an event or just to face the day. My keen sense of style, creativity, and ability to translate ideas into visually appealing looks has helped build the looks featured below. I consistently look for new opportunities to turn this passion into something more.
PGYB — Shot by Laneecia Ricks @laneeciaricks
I styled Jay (@jaytooonice) for a shoot concept Laneecia Ricks wanted to produce. She asked for two outfits while her inspiration was the Kenneth Ize Fall 21 Ready-to-Wear Collection. Both outfits except for the shoes was sourced from Fantastic Thrift in Richmond, VA.
Gooci Gew — Creative Direction by Jay @jaytooonice
I, in collaboration with Elijah Brown, styled a promotional video for a local Richmond event. The inspiration was the Gucci brand aesthetic and the GOLF S/S 2019 Fashion Show. The outfits were sourced from the models’ closets and shot by Laneecia Ricks.
Graduation Shoot - Trinity Luck @trinn.ity
Trinity Luck, a recent graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Social Work, asked me to help her style the celebration shoot for her graduation. She requested a classic white dress look, a professional look with VCU paraphernalia, and a casual look, all with tones of her personal style..
